In time, you'll find business travel tedious for an entirely different reason - you're tired of taking your shoes off at security, and you never sleep well in a hotel bed no matter how much the room cost, and you'd really rather have a PBJ than go try and find another resturaunt in a city you don't know. There's still these occasional magic moments though, where you wake up early for your flight on a beautiful morning in Boise, eat breakfast at a little greasy spoon down by the capitol building, and have time to chat with the cabbie on the way to the airport. Be open to them, and they'll find you.
