Somebody told me once that Chinese immigrants to Toronto have a nickname for the city that translates as "the city in the trees". I have no idea if that's true or not, but it's charming enough, so I'll go with it. This blog will be about things and sights of interest to me in and around the city.
The pattern's broken. This morning, the station on the corner had gas priced at 79.9¢/L. Well, at least this makes sense to me; it's high when people have to get and be somewhere.

There is no predicting gas prices. Gas Companies spen millions of dollars creating software that will randomly change prices, with no realtion to the market prices in order to better confuse byers and trick us into purchasing higher priced gasoline than we would like. Trying to "time" your purchases is an excersise in futility! The random agorithms used are more complex and less predictable than Vagas Casino games but just like Vagas Casino games, they ensure 1 thing: The House (Or in this case the Gas Company) ALWAYS WIN!
