Life in a rainy sky
Dixon Road in Etobicoke. I'd been chased off the 401 by a traffic jam and was making my way across town on surface streets. I was stopped here at the light (obviously) and something about the scene just struck me as so evocative. Compelling. It was one of those singular moments that you know, for some reason obscure even to yourself, some part of you will dwell forever. I can't say why, but as I sat there, I was deeply envious of the people here. Come back tomorrow or on some sunny day and I probably wouldn't even notice the place. Weird, but it was like that.
