It begins...

That 3D lens for my Rebel XT arrived this week. I'm a little disappointed in just how tight the framing is; it's hard to get a broad view of anything because firstly, by putting both images in the frame, you halve the area, which I knew, but also because, for some reason, it also magnifies the image by a factor of 1.6x. I still think it will have its uses, but I'm going to have to learn how to be strategic with it. In any case, here's a nice early example of what it's capable of. Not bad, I think...
